I am a GP doctor at a private primary care clinic in the Malaysian southern state of Johor. The abrupt change from a hospitalist to my current career choice is to extend my services to the vulnerable low skilled migrant workers who were greatly affected during the Covid Pandemic. At my workplace, we offer free primary care to support SDG 3 especially SDG 3.8.
I am also a volunteer member and National Young Adult deputy coordinator in the spiritual humanitarian organisation, Sathya Sai International Organisation of Malaysia, where we promote interfaith dialogues to foster national unity in an increasingly fragmented society.
