Doctorate Candidate of Law from Anáhuac University Mexico City. She is a lawyer from Iberoamericana University Mexico City. Specialist in Human Rights and Constitutional Justice from Castilla la Mancha University.

As a student she participated in several international human rights competitions like the “Sergio García Ramírez” from UNAM and the Interamerican Human Rights an Humanitarian Law Moot Court from American University in Washington, in which she thrived as one of the top ten speakers between more of 200 participants.

In her professional practice she has dedicated her efforts to the defense of human rights, highlighting her job at the Ombudsman’s office of Mexico City, the Public Office of Security of Mexico City, the Public Interest Clinic against human trafficking of the ITAM University where she was head of litigation and was in charge of the interamerican cases and her work at the Office of United Nations against drug and crime.

Since 2016 she has been the Academic Coordinator of the Law Degree in the Faculty of Law in the South Campus of Anáhuac University Mexico City. As a professor she has taught the course of Human and fundamental Rights, Human Rights Protection Systems, International Public Law, and Leadership skills for Lawyers.

As an Academic her line of research focuses on the studies of International Women Human Rights and gender based violence and she is currently a member of the multi-institutional team of experts of the Second Alert of Gender (public mechanism to prevent and protect women from gender violence) in Mexico City.

She is about to found and preside the Substantive Equality and Peace Building Comission at one of the most prestigious Bar Associations of Lawyers in the Country, the “Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México” and she is a founder associate of “Centro de Atención Integral María Reina de la Paz”, civil association dedicated to give integral education, help building reconciliation between men and women, building peace in our community and provide free legal services and make social reintegration of persons deprived of liberty a reality.
