My focus on international organisations, civil societies and NGOs and political studies and diplomacy are assets I look forward to using, when dispensing my duties. I have been a regular writer and advocate for youth empowerment in my country, I have been vocal and established several organisations and been part of organisations that operate with the aim of empowering women and youth. In addition, I have used education to educate young women and men on the future of youth in the 21th century, their involvement in decision making and how they can use the 21st tools and influences as assets in fueling youth radicalism, influence and involvement in decision making and entrepreneurship. I have together with my fellow young people established organisations such as the National Youth Dialogue aimed at supporting talented young people to make a meaningful contribution to the market and skillset, or production of products in the informal market, it also seek to educate and enlighten young people on political issues that affects our country. I have experience mobilizing young people and giving them a voice to speak up against ill treatment and from being undermined by the current status quo. To change Africa, and be the future of our continent, and to change the world for the better, the youth needs volunteer opportunities and tangible integration into structures such as the African Union, UN, WFP, WTO, World Bank, IMF and other international organiations through temporary, contractual or permanent employment to gain further knowledge and experiences and be part of the efforts of these organisations in Africa and beyond, because they will be part of the future of what these organisations are trying to create, the Africa We Want, sustainable development goals, a desirable world, millennium development goals, national development plans, vision 2063 and other national plans that individuals have, of which this experience will be priceless to contribute to these efforts. I wish to be part of this and to use my experience and academic background for the betterment of the world, and its people. I have contribute to a series of writing essays , articles and journals aimed at promoting mobility, integration and cooperation between African people and the world, and individual countries in African, I have also participated in competitions and writing initiatives for peace, stability and women empowerment. From 15 February 2018 to 08 June 2018 I worked as Political Researcher and Speech Writer for the Popular Democratic Movement the Official Opposition in Namibian National Assembly, at their Parliament Office. This office was about holding government accountable, I also interacted with Opposition Parties from around Africa especially Sub Saharan Africa and used globalisation and information sharing to influence politics and promote checks and balances within government. We interacted extensively and used the platform to strengthen our bond and diplomacy. I was a teacher for a year 2017, I taught and educated students in the rural outskirt of my country in Amilema according to guidelines provided by the National Curriculum Framework under the overall guidance of the competent education authority; I taught and educated students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to my care by the Head of School or Head of Unit. During my time here, I used my weekends and off day and also after hour time to educate young people and my learners on the realities of life, how to be influential in the 21st century, the importance of education, political awareness and education. My experiences have helped me improve my skills in communication as I have regularly communicate information, and ideas to students at school using a range of media, I have been able to communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically for example report writing in my work place. I have also written to a range of audiences with diverse cultures, tradition and languages. I also improved and demonstrated my ability to work in a team since most of my work was a team effort, collaborating with colleagues to provide new and innovative teaching methods to achieve the best results. In addition I have lived in different towns, villages and communities, attending and contributing to relevant meetings, collaborating with academic colleagues on programme development and curriculum changes. I was able to adapt to changes through diverse cultures, languages and I have been exposed to different people while in leadership training in South Africa which consisted of different people from different countries all over Southern Africa. I grew my abilities and potential in the areas of assertiveness, Initiating, problem solving and decision making where I had to initiate, create and make judgement while applying appropriate approaches to learning and teaching support and scholarly activities. I had to contribute to decisions affecting the work of the team and also contribute to collaborative decision making with colleagues. In case of misunderstanding I have learned to listen and first analyse situations before taking action. After my year of service or end of my contract, I expect to incorporate the experience I have gained into my community and serve as an effective leader to create unity, leadership and mobilize young people to work as a collective towards improving governance trajectories in my country and in and around the Southern Africa region. This time of service would improve my abilities and professional experiences which I hope to use this to help in the quest of building an inclusive Africa that embrace diversity, inclusivity and youth participation in major decision making areas. I wish to use my experience to develop the African continent and empower the youth to be future leaders and agents of change in communities and different African countries. I hope to make a meaningful contribution to any organization that I will be assigned to, I hope to have a positive impact, in the organization and I hope to have made significant changes in the area I hope to represent and the community I hope and wish to be part off in dispensing our efforts and volunteering. I expect to see growth in organizational and mobilization skills, personal development and my ability to further represent my community and be an influential future leader for African movements and agents of change gearing towards Pan-Africanism and African growth.
