I am a 32yr old first year Emergency Medicine Resident and Acting Registrar at San Fernando General Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. I have a passion for health care and education in this field and work hard to inspire my colleagues and patients in an effort towards ideal health care for all, despite age, sex, gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity/race and nationality. I have been the receipt of the University of the West Indies Mona Campus Premier Award for two consecutive years for Social service and Leadership 2014 and 2015, all the while at the said institution I was the Director of Emergency Medical Services for the University’s Emergency Response Team (UWISERT) for three years. Post University Life my goal is to inspire my community and encourage all to live a healthier life being open to opportunities outside the norm of which they have grown to be accustomed to via fostering growth and success in education, community programs and sport.
