Mr. Jomar S. Herry, is a current Master’s student taking development management at one of the highly urbanized academic center and white area of insurgencies of the Philippines. He is also a proud Indigenous People’s youth and incorporates his culture in every peacebuilding activities he organized for the past 3-5 years. Furthermore, his scope of experience as a servant leader in school and the
community includes being a program coordinator responsible for
organizing and conducting workshops, projects, programs, activities, and seminars for my fellow Youth and the community; Journalist and speaker of a 4 year English Program; being an
officer of a non-academic organization in school; representing the Philippines in international conferences and events; serving as a Volunteer, University Student Council Senator; Chapter
President of a city-wide organization; Youth Ambassador; and an advocate of disaster risk reduction, peace, climate literacy, health, community development, youth empowerment, sustainability and servant leadership. Lastly, he is one of the chosen core writers of his country’s National Action Plan on Youth, Peace, and Security which was launched last August, and was the 4th in Asia.
