I started teaching in 1999 as a teacher at Cherkasy State Business College. Two years later, I was invited to the post of Senior Lecturer at the Cherkasy Branch of a private institution “European University”. At the same time, I joined the Master’s Degree in Finance at the European University Head Office. A year later, I successfully completed my master’s degree and I was invited to graduate study in Finance. In 2004, I successfully defended my dissertation and received a PhD in Finance. Taking into account my academic achievements and organizational skills, I was promoted to the position of Head of the Finance, Accounting and Auditing Department of the Cherkasy Branch of the European University.
In 2007, I was invited to another private university, Eastern European University of Economics and Management, initially to the position of associate professor of the Economics and Finance Department, and then offered the positions of head of department and vice-rector for scientific work. At the same time, I started working on setting up my own science school to modernize financial intermediation. I actively organized the University’s cooperation with insurance companies and banking institutions, introducing practically oriented education for students of the specialty “Finance”. Together with the members of the Department, we organized and held several scientific conferences, received grants from Providna Insurance Company and Ukreximbank for research. In 2011, under my scientific guidance, two of my graduate students received a PhD in Economics and I became a Doctor of Economics.
Based on my experience in organizing and conducting research, in September 2011, I was invited to the position of Head of the Management and Economic Security Department of the Bogdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University, in which I worked until June 2017. During this time, about ten scientific conferences for students and scholars, including international ones, were organized with the members of the department. We have actively cooperated with scientists from other universities in Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Slovenia. In my editorial, 8 books have been published based on the results of the research.
In 2018, I was invited to the position of professor and then the vice-rector for scientific research of the private university “KROK” University, in which I still work. In my current position, I am preparing and managing the financial budget for scientific research of the university.
During my teaching work, I taught finance courses, such as Finance Theory, Corporate Finance, and Securities Market. After defending my doctoral dissertation, entitled “Forming the Economic Security System of Issuing Activities of Joint Stock Companies”, the list of subjects I taught changed and included: Economic Security of the Company, Staff Security, Anti-Fraud and Corporate Governance.
