Irving is a Peruvian-American, born and raised in Long Island, New York. Irving holds an Associate Degree in Mass Communications and a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Communications with a minor in Business. Irving is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sports Management at Adelphi University. He has been a member of several organizations, such as the Latin American Student Organization and UNICEF. Irving’s commitment to the achievement of the 2030 UN SDGs has enabled him to coordinate and participate in services such as collect resources and fundraise over 1000+ for Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, fundraise over $2000+ for children with Cancer to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation and teach sports to young children in local communities. Irving is also a member of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. A professional organization that focuses on community service and professionalism. Irving assisted other members in the fraternity in building a new elementary school in a poor neighborhood in Peru and fundraised enough economic means to support the education of such children. Irving also currently serves as Regional Director of the Long Island Region for Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. As Regional Director, Irving oversees all projects for the region and on each college campus. Irving also works with New York Cares, by serving local NPOs in different projects such as organizing donations to give to the less privileged, sort through clothes donations for pregnant women and help revitalizing green spaces throughout the city to mention a few. Irving is also a co-founder of Dandelions Initiative NY, an NYC based initiative that serves to provide resources to local communities to contribute to the achievement of the 2030 UN SDGs.
