As one of the top 10 public speakers in the world recognized by Toastmasters International in 2016, ever since I have been passionate about empowering and equipping women to create abundant, aspirational lives. I help women reinvent themselves and everything they were created to be through public advocacy speaking.

Progressing in the development sector, my work typically revolves around improving career counseling in Sri Lanka to make it more in line with the market, so that young people have in-demand jobs and skills. We ensure that high-quality, market-oriented career counseling is equally available to groups that have historically been left out of these services, including rural youth, girls and young women, and ethnic minorities.

When I’m not at work, my efforts are invested in speaking to the young and aspirational minds who seek to express themselves through public speaking. As a public speaker myself I fully understand the impact and influence one can make over an audience with the choice of words and expressions. I help coach speakers communicate with diplomacy, sensitive and authenticity.

My efforts and recognition goes far and wide. I have addressed worldwide audiences in person and through webinars in the USA, Canada, India, Bharain, Dubai, France and addressed up to an audience of 2000 as my highest audience strength.

Invariably my audiences develop a personal connection to my
stories and my sense of humour, letting me take them on a
journey with me and to result in a much connected, rejuvenated
and motivated audience.
