My name is Hellen Jumo and I am senior at the College of Saint Rose in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. She is currently pursuing stem cell research at the Neural Stem Cell institute in New York. My goal is to eventually pursue medicine and research. I am part of the Bold Women Leadership , a foundation that aims to support young women from all backgrounds and especially those who have been significantly underrepresented in higher education. I am the founder and CEO of the Goal Getter foundation that aims to educate and empower, young orphans, elderly and teenage mothers through education and empowerment. I am also a Grace scholar and United Student Achievers program scholar. I am very passionate about women empowerment,peace and gender. I alo serve as a member of the International Leadership Association, United Nations and the Women at Work that is based in New York. Oncampus I serve as an International Orientation Leader, student speaker, Knight for a day Host and Resident Assistant where I facilitates the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University. I am also part of the executive board for the International Student Organisation and the Medical club oncampus.
