Hadje zara Ahmat Affono is a young activist working on Countering violent extremism (CVE) in her community in the region of lack Chad.Victim of the atrocities of the boko haram sect she started serving her community through sensitization and by promoting Pacific cohabitation . Member of the executive office of “Reseau des jeunes pour la lutte contre l’extrémisme violent”. She participates in many events of peacebuilders like the regional youth summit on Countering violent extremism in Nigeria in 2016. She believes that peace is not unity in similarity but unity in diversity. Hadje Zara holds a bachelor degree on English language and she is an alumni of young African leadership initiative YALIDAKAR cohort 11 and is a teacher by profession and vocation.
