My name is Gulnara Moldosanova. I was born on March 11, 1987 in Bishkek. I have a brother and a sister. My mom works as an economist. My father died for health reasons.
In 2005 I graduated from lyceum in the city of Kara-Balta. Then I went to study at the Kyrgyz National University, Faculty of Economics. After graduation, she started working as an accountant at the Republican Children’s Hospital in Bishkek. In this hospital I worked in projects financed by Unicef, Yusaid and Aga Khan Foundation. After working there for 6 years, I transferred to the Scientific Center for Human Reproduction. In this center I worked as an economist and procurement officer for more than 3 years. I was trained in procurement at the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan.
Since 2019 to work in a local NGO on HIV / AIDS. Working in this organization I took part in the study “Stigma and discrimination of people living with HIV in Kyrgyzstan”.
Since 2022 she started working for Médecins Sans Frontières as a data processing specialist. The project conducts research on early detection of cervical cancer and breast cancer among the residents of Sokuluk district of Kyrgyzstan.
I have been an active Unicef volunteer since 2022. During 2 years I took part in 4 volunteer projects:
1) “Safe Schools” on disaster prevention in schools in Kyrgyzstan during Emergencies. I conducted trainings for more than 10,000 schoolchildren and simulation exercises for more than 12,000 schoolchildren in Chui oblast.
2) “Hygiene” to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 and influenza in schools in Kyrgyzstan. Conducted to more than 5,000 pupils.
3) “Rights of the Child”. From November 20-21, 2023 conducted trainings to 1400 pupils of schools in Chui oblast on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Declaration of the Rights of the Child.
4) “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”. Put up posters in public transportation in Bishkek.
I am currently studying at the Master’s program “Project Management” at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
