My name is Godfrey Ndlovu, I’m a prospective medical student and a Member of Youth Invest
an entrepreneual organisation for young people. I’m also a former Medical Male Circumcision
counselor and mobilizer at the Bulawayo Department of Male Circumcision, PSI Zimbabwe. Also
a former Liason Officer for the Task force of the Contemporary Affairs Foundation (CAF). I also
worked with Self Testing Africa (S. T. A. R) as a data collector.
I’m skilled in civic engagement, a discipline were I get to have cummunity leadership lend an ear
to particular concerns of its community yet unaddressed. I also engage members of society in
their diversity of age, ethnicity and levels to come out with their perspectives on particular
agendas where their contributions are highly required. I have also gained a some knowledge in
the science of data collection and the statistics that surrounds it. I can also carry out the non
surgical (prepex) method of Circumcision.
I’m passionate about Public Health as a goal all of Africa has to reach at its level best to avoid
unnecessary loss of life. I’m also interested on how political systems play a fundamental role in
the shaping of all the government and private sectors are run. I’m particularly interested on how
varied economic states influence the level of peace in a country.
