I am Gavielle Cruz and I was raised in the humble municipality of Obando, Philippines. I am particularly interested in writing and coming up with research innovations. I plan to be a researcher in the future to help give light to certain problems that my community continue to face. I am a good spokesperson and a writer at heart. I am well-equipped with my profound experience when it comes to communicating, as I have participated in numerous seminars, competitions, and theater plays that have improved my skill in expressing myself, particularly through writing. I am able to contribute by providing my expertise in writing and researching. I believe that these two fortes of mine are very much timely and significant in building network. Through writing, I am able to express myself and the organization’s pleas. Through research, I am able to bridge the gap between knowledge and reality, and put manifestation to idea start-ups. I am not particularly a leader, but I am very much willing to learn to be one. Currently, I am a good follower of certain causes in my community. I have been joining youth advocate groups and am volunteering for different activities, webinars, and movements that aim to address the United Nation’s SDG goals. For the past year, I have been admitted to join delegations, particularly in environmental and journalism delegations. With my continual experience, I plan to and am very much open to trying out to lead and start a new organization/movement to help address my community’s needs.
