Gabrielle Hayashi studies International Relations and has been a part of a volunteer group at the United Nations for three years. In 2017 she was nominated for the Volunteer of the year award. Since her first year has been a part of the Peace Studies research group and has published articles on the theme.I have been selected for scholarship programs in more than 5 countries. Therefore, I have stimulated other to have cultuare tolerance , and because of that I created a project in my University called ” School for Refugees” where we teach refugees Portuguese as well as help them to find a proper job . With that project I was nominated for community change maker. All the process taught me to be resilient and to inspire change when all hope seems to be lost.
