I graduated Bachelor’s degree from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent. During my studies, I participated in the ERASMUS+ exchange program at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. I got my Master’s degree from the ERASMUS MUNDUS Joint Programme in South European Studies at the University of Glasgow, the UK; National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece; and, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain where I have gained theoretical and fundamental knowledge of international relations and the EU, especially, with focus on the Southern European research. I studied the migration policy of the EU in the Mediterranean region during my studies at the EUROSUD programme. Besides, I had the opportunity to live and study in Greece and Spain as well, where I observed the importance and actuality of migration policy in the world agenda. My interest in this topic led me to participate in the 4th CABAR.Asia School of Analytics organized by “Institute for War and Peace Reporting in Central Asia” (IWPR CA) for young researchers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. I have the opportunity to research the EU soft power in Uzbekistan with an academic mentor and publish my research article in their journal.
