Faatu Nyanga Kanneh is a Nuclear Safety and Policy Professional with over five years of experience at Sierra Leone’s regulatory body-the Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Authority. She has contributed to major national and international initiatives, including facilitating Sierra Leone’s signing of the IAEA Additional Protocol and developing the country’s Integrated Nuclear Security Support Plan (INSSP). A fellow of the IAEA Nuclear Safeguards Traineeship Program and alumna of the TechWomen U.S. Department of State Mentorship, she is passionate about advancing Africa’s role in global nuclear governance and ensuring the safe, secure, and peaceful use of nuclear technology.
