I am Esther Wangui, and I believe change begins where we stand; through small acts that touch lives and inspire action. I have led community clean-ups, delivered climate education workshops, and turned complex environmental issues into animations for students. I have spoken on menstrual hygiene and cervical cancer in primary and high schools, empowering youth with knowledge for healthier lives. Working with local leaders, I have assisted disadvantaged families with jigger treatment, bedbug eradication, and household resources, affirming that dignity and healthy living are rights, not privileges. I’m also initiating a biogas project in Marikiti Market, converting biodegradable waste into clean energy. Each experience has taught me that leadership is measured by impact, not recognition. As a Global Peace Ambassador, I aim to bridge education, sustainability, and social empowerment, showing that peace is the presence of understanding, opportunity, and shared humanity.
