Emael Mrema has over five years of experience in internal auditing and accounts. She is a 2018 OSIEA Young Leaders Forum Delegate and a 2018 World Youth Forum Delegate held in Egypt. As well as a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow for YALI under the US state of Department. Emael is a former Assistant Accountant at the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) Morogoro regional office. Emael is passionate about working on projects focusing on improving Tanzanian lives by supporting the sectors of food, health and education. Her focus is on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5: achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls. Hence advocating against violence experienced by women and children with Disabilities. Emael holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Economics with a major in Management. Emael is committed to her vision of building
the characters of young African leaders, and envisions an Africa where there is freedom of speech, Where all communities have access to clean water, energy, electricity, medical supplies, hospitals, and schools. Emael is working to use her expertise in the field of public governance and public administration. She hopes to be able to implement positive work experiences that will contribute to more effective solutions in improving the accountability of all people to bring all around peace and harmony. Emael expects to see herself as an influential voice for peace for many years to come.
