I am Divin a young African leader born and raised in Democratic Republic of Congo who posses a wide range of experience in gender based violence prevention, social entrepreneurship and peace building. I am 23 years old and` i am single. Since when I was young my passion was to work hard from the benefit of community. in that only way i can contribute to make it a better place to live for everyone, a world where every and each one is living in peace. Participating in this program is a great opportunity for me, for we will get an experience that will help us be a solution to some of our community challenges. I expect getting more skills from the program by learning from ambassadors and from the diversity the cohort or the entire program will have. I want to know more about the peace concept, and understand how other youth/communities/countries perceive it. This will help us widen our knowledge. As a young leader committed to serve, we know that our community expects getting something from us. Thus, we want to identify our community need, and find a solution to them. I am pretty sure that together with them we will make good things happen. “None can reach success acting alone” Nelson Mandela said. . I will make sure that we adequately use of network in a way that it becomes productive. Nothing will stop us from achieving our goals. We will never give up until it is done.
