Social Work is something I have always been interested in, especially working with children and families. Helping people overcome obstacles and difficulties and making the most of themselves is a very rewarding yet challenging career. You have the chance to meet a variety of different people with different problems from substance misuse to cases of neglect and abuse, as well as supporting those in the care system. I am a social work undergraduate in The National University of Malaysia. Social Work is a profession that requires a variety of emotional and psychological skills in addition to formal academic training. While knowledge and practices are what defines my profession and some of the most important skills are actually internally developed. I am also the student ambassador of Institut Onn Ja’afar and Malaysian National Anti-Drugs Agency.
