I am Diane Uwase, a Rwandan, Born in DRC , on January 1st, 1990. I am a mother of 2 and happily married. I hold a masters Degree in Development Studies from Jomo Kenyatta University and have been working in developing my community.
I am passionate about youth and women’s empowerment. I help people discover their potential, know themselves and become change makers in the community.
I help young ladies regain confidence, especially teem mothers who have been beaten up by life. We support them with their relationship with their families, their children and community. We do this through different training, conflict management and peace building sessions, mentorship sessions, home visits,…
Peace for me is important given my country’s history. I was born and was raised outside my country because of lack of peace. We continue to suffer from intolerance, selfishness, …I understand the need to spread the message of peace, unity, reconciliation and inclusiveness.
