Christa Bella Kaneza is a driven and compassionate individual who has dedicated her career to helping others. Born in Burundi, Christa was raised in a close-knit community where she learned the value of hard work and community service at a young age.
After completing her secondary education, Christa pursued her passion for technology by enrolling in the Software Engineering program at Universite du Lac Tanganyika. During her time at the university, Christa excelled academically and was known for her strong work ethic and collaborative spirit. She also took advantage of various extracurricular activities, including volunteering as a tutor for underprivileged students and participating in coding competitions.
Upon graduating with honors, Christa was recruited by a nonprofit organization called Youth Building in Synergy to end Poverty (YBSP). As a program manager at YBSP, Christa is responsible for overseeing the organization’s literacy training program and managing a fund for group business ventures.
In her role, Christa has made a significant impact on the lives of many young people in her community. She has developed a comprehensive curriculum for the literacy training program, which provides weekly lessons on reading, writing, and basic computer skills. Through her efforts, many students who were previously struggling with these skills have made significant improvements and are now better equipped to pursue their education and career goals.
In addition to her work with YBSP, Christa is also an active member of her community. She volunteers with various organizations and is a mentor to many young people in her neighborhood.
