I see myself as an idealistic teacher and instructional leader. A visionary thinker. As a young teacher, I am more focused on the big ideas and results with less concern about the steps on how to get there. For the past eight years in educating young minds, I have been writing and creating innovations, instructional materials, and research articles for daily circulation in the Department of Education and for the country. My passions include the arts, education, instructional supervision, and leadership. My expertise in arts, education, instructional supervision, and leadership has led me to conduct and facilitate a variety of seminars and workshops for learners, teachers, and members of the community. I have planned and implemented numerous school improvement and curriculum development programs and projects. During my service, I was one of the most important pillars of outstanding service and leadership in education.
I have developed a richer perspective of the world. I envisage that one of the essential parts of preparing myself is to take full responsibility as an open-minded citizen in the community that we live in today. I have been serving the community for quite some time. I am a member of Gawad Laguna Incorporated – Samahan ng mga Namumukod Tanging Kabataan ng Laguna. This organization focuses on three things: (1) Developing the province’s youth leaders. (2) Serving the community, and (3) Promoting tourism, culture, and the arts. Through Gawad Laguna Incorporated, I am able to lead and facilitated various community programs and projects in the province of Laguna. These programs and projects are centered on health, education, environment, financial stability, and technology.
I have received various awards and plaudits from a range of award-giving agencies both inside and outside the Department of Education over the years. This is a remarkable service accomplishment, as I highlight my outstanding performance not just, as a youth advocate, but also as a good leadership ambassador and a passion for outstanding service.
My creative teaching methods and goal-oriented leadership style have inspired me to become more determined and persevere in the demands of being a high-caliber educator and leader, despite the pandemic and the various hurdles in the educational system. I believe that age and experience are not the sole basis of competence. It is more of enthusiasm, compassion, dedication, and intelligence toward the profession.
