Applying to become a Peace Ambassador is a decision I never before thought would become a reality, yet it holds so many opportunities on so many levels and across various boards to positively contribute, impact and change lives for the better. Now more than ever, I have a strong desire and urge to learn more in depth about other cultures, challenges they face, strategies they use in contributing to world peace and so I want to embrace the world and all its colors, to dig into it and understand it better. Being a Peace Ambassador for me, merely signifies answering to a call to action in promoting world peace and playing my part as a Global Citizen. The prospect of capturing and living through some awe-inspiring moments and more especially the grand ones excites me and I certainly look forward to mapping a formidable mutual growth through this experience.
