“My name is Awah Jeremaih Acuro a second-year master’s degree student at Peoples Friendship University, Russia. I completed high school in my home country, Cameroon from which I emerged and won the award as the best candidate in the national exams. This enabled me to obtain a scholarship for a bachelor’s degree program in the Russian Federation. After graduation, I was offered another scholarship for a master’s degree program in which I am in my final year.
I am a global citizen and a social activist involved in many extracurricular and social activities. I help empower the youths back in my country through the organization ‘Open Dreams’ to achieve great things regardless of their background. I am the representative of African students at the People’s friendship university of Russia. I am the President of YOLOT(Young leaders of Tomorrow), a youth organization that inspires young kids and teenagers on Moral attitudes, and Social-Emotional Learning. I am also a Cambridge certified English language teacher who also takes the opportunity to impact students while delivering the language skills. I have actively participated in various forums, conferences, and exhibitions while receiving awards of participation.
My hobbies are sports, photography and language learning, teaching and language exchange clubs.”
