“International Relations, Political Science, and Teachers Education are among my Master’s degrees in the social sciences. I received an International Student Ambassador scholarship for a master’s degree in Dispute Resolution at Independent College Dublin in 2021. Professionally, I’ve overseen the implementation of a broad portfolio of community stabilisation initiatives aimed at promoting social cohesion and stability in the region by strengthening the community-government connection in Pakistan. The project required close coordination with a wide range of stakeholders, including the government, tribal and religious leaders, civil society organizations, and members of the general public.
In collaboration with the Department of Health and polio partners, I recently worked as a Communication Support Officer with UNICEF as a focal point to coordinate and support the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of district Polio Eradication Initiative (PEI) and Extended Program of Immunisation (EPI), social mobilisation, and communication planning in the Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
For UN-IOM and other organizations, I was a valuable asset and resource. Our projects were implemented in a politically, socially, and culturally difficult area of the former FATA, and it was only because of my passion and professionalism that we were able to implement projects ranging from agriculture and livelihoods improvement to women’s empowerment in such a difficult environment. Enabling community approval and conversation necessitated exceptional diplomacy and communication abilities, which I have demonstrated in my work. I designed and executed thousands of projects in Pakistan’s former FATA and Khyber Pakthunkhwa provinces while working with NGOs and international organizations.”
