“‘m a social entrepreneur, freelancer, and Software Engineer by profession currently working with multinational company CareCloud. During my bachelor’s, I was selected for the prestigious and competitive leadership-based Global UGRAD scholarship (administered by USEFP& IREX). Out of 20k+ applicants, only 200 leaders were selected to go to the USA on a fully-funded scholarship. During my stay in the USA under this scholarship, I represented Pakistan and Asia
positively on various international platforms and polished my leadership skills. Currently, I’m a member of Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network.
I’ve been working to uplift women in Pakistan, I collaborated with UNDP during COVID and trained around 300 young girls with coding skills via Zoom. These training were designed to help them make their way to learn contributing towards SDG4 and earn online during pandemics and onward.
My recent initiative named Snazzi has won the third position for Women in Tech competition held by Youth Co: Lab. This initiative is all about creating a positive social impact by empowering female local artisans in remote areas associated with handcrafting products and working from homes. Our aim is to showcase and sell their products internationally using our platform and extract the actual profit they truly deserve to make them economically viable and contribute directly towards SDG5.”
