My name is Arsene MUGISHA, a member of JURU Initiative.
Our foundation, which is called Juru Initiatives, wanted to raise some money for the campaign “One Pad by a girl” because we needed external support to achieve our goal of helping young Rwandan girls who are not able to afford pads.
It was one of our main objectives for the new year 2022, and we decided to arrange how we can mobilize different partners who are ready to grant us some amount of money for our idea.
We gave each other specific tasks to complete. I was responsible for mobilization through social media platforms where I was assigned to advertise our initiatives with the projects. Fortunately, we have gathered funds from different partners and friends who were happier by only listening to our programs through our mobilizations. In February, we were able to give 500 pads to High school girls in need.
