I am a Swiss citizen with fluency in French and English and professional working proficiency in Spanish and German. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and I have been pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Science. This interdisciplinary education has raised my interest in nature conservation, sustainable development and how our relationship to nature is central to peace-building. I took courses and wrote reports on ecosystem restoration, nature-based solutions and issues faced by developing countries, and am thus familiar with these engaging topics.

I have also been working as an intern with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) since last year on subjects relevant to biodiversity and health, coexistence of humans and biodiversity, and environmental aspects of One Health.

When I was working for the Embassy of Switzerland in Costa Rica, I showed the extent of my writing skills with political and economic reports and I participated in the international climate summit “PreCOP25” with the official delegation of the Swiss Federal Office of the Environment. And my previous position as a fundraiser for various recognized NGOs trained me to develop communication materials targeting diverse audiences.

My volunteer involvement in an organizational committee for a dance group between 2014 and 2019 has, for its part, strengthened my team player spirit, my sense of initiative and my organizational skills.

Finally, since 2011, I have been involved with the work of CIOFF and CIOFF Youth, which are official partners of UNESCO. I have been a representative of Switzerland’s culture and traditions at international folklore festivals abroad and I have assisted the Youth section in its activities for children and youth on the preservation of immaterial cultural heritage. This also gave me the opportunity to meet people from various cultural backgrounds and develop an open and communicative character.
