As a law student, I participated in various international conferences, among others were Australian Law Students’ Association Conference in Australia, Asian Law Students’ Association Conference in South Korea, and Singapore Model United Nations in Singapore. I utilised those opportunities to network with people from different backgrounds, to voice out my aspirations, discuss about global issues and formulate constructive conflict resolutions.
Moreover, I have a keen interest in achieving SDG No 4: Quality Education. In 2018, I was chosen as DKI Jakarta Book Ambassador by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, where I got to promote the importance of literacy and reading books to a wide community, especially children. During my tenure, together with my team, we had a monthly program to teach underprivileged children in many integrated, child-friendly public spaces for a year and succeeded in getting them not only able to read, but to make reading a habit.
After I graduated from law school, I became Literacy Advocate for National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, where I continue to spread awareness on the importance of literacy and reading books through Reading Interest Correctional Movement where I collaborated with various stakeholders and organisations.
