I am a native of Borneo but currently based in New Zealand. I am a member of the United Nations Association of New Zealand (UNANZ), fostering friendship among diverse cultures and promoting global peace and political stability. I hold a BA Hons (Political Science) from the National University of Malaysia and a Master of International Studies from Otago, New Zealand. I am currently in the midst of my PhD research at the Department of International & Strategic Studies, University of Malaya. My research is about the Philippines’ claim over Sabah and its potential threats to peaceful co-existence within the ASEAN region.
