Alina Rakhimzhanova is a recent graduate included in the “Gold Book” of KAZGUU University, where she got her degree in International Law. She is passionate about international law from the first days of study because for her it is the language of peacebuilders. At the same time, Alina had internships in the Department of America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, English court, International Arbitration Centre, and leading consulting companies.

In recent years, Alina has been actively developing moot courts in Kazakhstan. She is a national champion and a member of the team representing Kazakhstan in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition that is the world’s largest moot court; winner in Central Asian Investment Moot “Gavel” organized by the C5+1 Youth Council; a finalist in “The AIFC Court & IAC Moot Final Winners’ Cup” based on English private law. She strongly believes that a moot court is a place where like-minded individuals gather to promote law and ideas of building strong and effective institutions. apart from that, she is proud to be a Global Peace Ambassador and volunteer of UNICEF. Alina cultivates a culture of tolerance, inclusivity and social peacebuilding through peace talks with society. She teaches English and plays tennis in her spare time.
