“My name is Ala Tebini, I am 20 years old, from Tunisia. I am enrolled as a second-year student at Tunis Business School and studying business administration. I got my baccalaureate of experimental science in 2020 with honors from a high school in Monastir.
During my high school years, I was spending all my time between studying, learning music and enlarging my knowledge through learning news and articles. All these factors played a major role in shaping my personality.
In 2020, I started school at the best public business school in Tunisia. Starting university life at Tunis Business School was a milestone in my life due to the community that I found there, and the unique studying system. I started thinking of the future differently and started shaping my vision to it. Then, I have defined my strategies to achieve my short-term and long-term goals. I have joined a lot of associations in which I found opportunities to refine my skills and improve my social and human skills. I have joined TIMUN which stands for Tunisian International Model United Nations. I invested a lot of time in it. I learned a lot about the UN organization and I liked the MUN concept as it is a way to improve my skills and as a way to work on achieving the UN SDGs. On April 2021, I’ve been selected to be the secretary general in charge of the sponsoring in a local simulation. on July 2020, I have applied to be the secretary general of the biggest MUN conference in Tunisia and it was on of my biggest achievements and the association’s most successful simulations. It was a huge opportunity for me to meet people from the MUN community, and from the UN representatives in Tunisia.”
