Abhijeet Dighavkar is a social entrepreneur and a young social activist carrying rich and diverse experience in social and youth developmental works. His contribution in the fields of education, youth development, women empowerment, health and environment are exemplary. He has represented India in the International Youth Conference in Nepal, in the year 2018. He is also appointed as the Global Youth Ambassador for International Youth Society. He is an active member of various organisations and contributes in it with his efforts. He was felicitated with the Yashwantrao Chavan Youth Award for Maharashtra state in 2018. He was also felicitated with District Youth Award of Government in 2017. He is actively involved and often invited by different forums and universities to speak about youth development and address various issues of society. After completing his graduation, Abhijeet has done Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management and Marketing Management. Since then, he has been involved in the rural development, youth development and social entrepreneurship. He is the director and founder of NGO- ‘Jaaniv’. (Organization in special consultative status with the United nations ECOSOC since 2022) As a founder of his NGO, he has organised several events and awareness campaigns and has reached the deprived youth section of the rural and remote areas in Maharashtra, India. Through his NGO, he has reached and uplifted the lives of youth and students from grassroot level, and helped them in building their own livelihoods for sustainable development.
