My name is Abeda Nasrat and I am 22 years old. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Law from University of Copenhagen and I already hold a bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Southern Denmark. I was born in Kabul in the midst of a civil war that had reached its destructive pinnacle. Millions fled for their lives reluctantly, my family amongst them. Growing up as a refugee in Denmark I always felt a tremendous sense of responsibility; that one day, I would work to ensure the rights of millions of other minorities. Through my work as a Dialogue Ambassador and Sustainable Development Goals Ambassador I advocate for inclusion, social justice, and sustainable peace.
