Refund & Cancellation Policy

Global Peace Chain (GPC) organizes international leadership programs, conferences, forums, and global initiatives designed to empower youth and professionals through cross-cultural engagement and international exposure. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions applicable to registrations, participation fees, application charges, invitation letters, and visa-related cases.

General Policy
  • By submitting an application or completing registration, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • All registration payments are collected to secure participation and to cover administrative processing, program arrangements, event logistics, and operational costs.
  • The Organization reserves the right to review and determine all refund, voucher, transfer, and compensation decisions in accordance with this policy.
  • Application fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Application fees apply to processing, evaluation, administrative review, and participant management procedures.
  • Non-selection, withdrawal, personal scheduling conflicts, visa delays, travel limitations, or failure to attend shall not qualify for any refund or voucher against the application fee
  • Invitation Letter fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Payments made for invitation letters cover documentation processing and administrative issuance only and do not guarantee visa approval.
  • No refund, voucher, transfer, or compensation shall be issued for invitation letter charges under any circumstance, including visa refusal.
  • Participants enrolled under Direct Entrance or Direct Fee categories may only be considered for compensation in cases of official visa refusal.
  • In case of visa refusal:
    • No refund shall be issued.
    • Eligible participants may receive program credit in the form of a voucher for future participation in an eligible program organized by the Organization or its affiliated entities.
    • Voucher issuance shall remain subject to submission of valid visa refusal documentation within the officially communicated deadline.
  • Participants enrolled under Self-Funded categories may only be considered for compensation in cases of official visa refusal.
  • Compensation shall be provided exclusively in the form of a future participation voucher and not as a cash refund.
  • The following deduction structure shall apply:
    • First visa refusal:
      • Eligible for a voucher of the paid participation fee
    • Second visa refusal:
      • A US$200 administrative deduction shall apply prior to voucher issuance 
    • Any subsequent visa refusal cases:
      • Additional deductions may apply based on administrative processing, operational expenses, and program circumstances determined by the Organization
  • Invitation Letter fees, application fees, processing charges, taxes, and third-party transaction costs remain strictly non-refundable and non-creditable.

Refunds, credits, or vouchers shall not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Change of personal plans or decision not to attend
  • Personal, academic, or professional scheduling conflicts
  • Travel disruptions or transportation issues
  • Failure to participate after confirmation
  • Partial attendance or voluntary withdrawal during the program
  • Failure to meet embassy or visa appointment requirements
  • Delayed documentation submission by the participant
  • In the unlikely event that Global PEACE CHAIN(GPC) cancels a program or event, participants may be offered either:
    • A voucher for future participation, or
    • An alternative participation opportunity or program voucher, as officially communicated by the Organization
    • Global Peace Chain (GPC), Young Professional Fellowship (YPF), Global Business Symposium and One Global Forum (OGF) operate as affiliated sister organizations under a shared global network of leadership programs, fellowships, summits, forums, and international initiatives.
