Greetings,

I am Gjorgji Ristov, a passionate advocate for positive change, global collaboration, and social justice. My journey toward becoming a Global Peace Ambassador has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences, reflecting my commitment to personal and societal growth.

Currently working as a Head of Career Unit in International Balkan University in Skopje, same time taking Master classes for Business, and finished my Bachelor of LAW with 9.61. I believe in the transformative power of education to cultivate understanding and bridge cultural gaps. My international exposure includes an enriching Erasmus experience at the University Adam Mickiewicz in Poland, where I immersed myself in a different academic and cultural environment. My dedication to fostering international connections is evident through my participation in several Erasmus+ projects. Notably, I contributed to the Heritage Learning Education Program (HELP) in Porto, Portugal, and engaged in collaborative initiatives between Macedonia and Sweden. These experiences not only broadened my perspectives but also emphasized the importance of intercultural understanding in creating a harmonious global community. Recognizing the power of volunteerism, I have actively engaged in various organizations. Volunteering at SEGA and the Council for Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency (SPPMD) allowed me to make a meaningful impact on issues close to my heart. I also represented SPPMD as a delegate and collaborated on projects such as the Intercultural Exchange at the Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation in Switzerland and the Working Office in Struga.

My commitment extends beyond borders, as evidenced by my involvement in projects such as the USAID- JA Macedonia “Innovative Camp,” where I contributed to fostering innovative thinking among young minds.

In November 2021, I was honored to be chosen as a Young European Ambassador, amplifying my dedication to promoting European values. Serving as a panelist during the European Movie Week, participating in ROUTE WB6, and engaging in the European Economic Congress in Katowice, Poland, have provided platforms to advocate for positive change and international cooperation.

My work as a Mobilize-trained individual for the project “Support to Electoral Reforms” showcases my commitment to effecting sustainable change. From developing communication plans to conducting political economy analysis and managing project budgets, I’ve honed skills that empower me to contribute meaningfully to societal progress.

Participating in the European Forum of Young Leaders and being part of a panel discussion on the future of agriculture in North Macedonia at the EU residence underscore my belief in the potential of youth to shape the future positively.

My journey is guided by a set of personal skills that include effective communication, conflict resolution, decision-making, self-motivation, adaptability, leadership, and strong analytical capabilities.

As I embark on the path of becoming a Global Peace Ambassador, I am inspired by the belief that collective efforts can bring about positive change. My experiences, coupled with a relentless commitment to building bridges and fostering understanding, drive my aspiration to contribute to a world characterized by unity, compassion, and sustainable peace.

I look forward to the opportunity to further collaborate and contribute to global peace initiatives.

Sincerely,

Join Us and Spread Peace Around the World
