My name is Abatova Aziza, I am 18 years old. This year I graduated from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in a small city – Atyrau and took a gap year. My main qualities are ambition, responsibility, and creativity. I think I have a huge imagination, which has helped me achieve a lot, both in social and academic activities. One of my achievements is more than 200 hours of volunteering. I am not indifferent to the fate of our planet, because not only us, but also new generations still live and breathe on it, so I think we should make every effort for the sake of environmental prosperity. I am a member of 2 volunteer clubs in Atyrau, as well as in a large-scale volunteer organization in Kazakhstan – New Wave. Together with like-minded people, we are clearing the city of garbage and negativity! My own project is a club based on helping students with project protection. Thanks to him, I was able to establish a connection between the senior and junior classes, they were in harmony with each other, exchanged experiences and gained new knowledge. This club expanded its scope and, receiving invitations from other schools, I began to hold scientific exhibitions of projects, thereby supporting the initiatives of students in the protection of projects. Another of my social achievements is my work in the Parliament of the school, namely the Minister of Culture. This role gave me a lot of experience in organizing events and planning them. I have held more than 50 events to raise the social life of the school and balanced it with excellent studies. She attracted sponsors, was a presenter – all this contributed to the development of communication skills. Of the social projects OUTSIDE of school, I can mention 2 applications that I created and promoted together with my friends. The first application is called SAQ, its purpose was to help people in emergency situations. At the moment of violation of personal human rights or a sudden attack, by pressing the SOS button, an alarm was activated and messages were immediately sent with the location of the victim to her or his loved ones, as well as to the local police station. This application had a fairly large coverage among the residents of the city. And most importantly, it raised the awareness of residents about this problem, which no one had thought about before. Enlightening people by putting good thoughts and intentions in them is the best feeling. The second application was a volunteer platform for students. On it, high school students could respond to the requests of junior high school students and using their knowledge, helped them with their studies. What is good about the app? This is beneficial to both sides, not only because of the exchange of experience, but also because of the award to volunteers in the form of a certificate, which will be useful to them in the future. High school students developed the skill of communicating with people of all ages and learned patience with the younger ones. At the moment, these are all the social achievements that I have achieved, but this is far from the end. I’m working on a website for low-income families. It is based on the help of volunteers to vulnerable segments of society. The site will become a bridge between those in need and those who are ready to help. The functions will be: free preparation for admission to good schools, a donation fund when requesting help, communication between volunteers and orphanages, the ability to schedule an event, the ability to leave applications for certain needs that volunteers can respond to. I am creating this website in order to help everyone who needs it. I think it’s right to give opportunities to people who have been deprived of them since birth. I want to sow good in people and inspire the younger generations!
