Blessing Dada is an educational practitioner and social entrepreneur with over five years of experience committed to empowering underdeveloped communities and eradicating poverty. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology Akure in 2018, but a personal story motivated him to transition into education development. As the Founder and Executive Director of the Slum and Rural Aid for African Child Development Initiative (Sarafacdi4africa), he is dedicated to bridging the education and digital gap by providing scholarships and digital and vocational skills training to marginalized children, adolescents, and youth in Africa.
Over the past four years, he has made significant strides and successfully implemented more than 18 projects, positively impacting over 20,000 vulnerable children and youth across Africa. His work has garnered national recognition, including being selected as one of the Top 40 researchers in Nigeria by GOTNI. Additionally, he has been honoured as a Carrington Youth Fellow (CYFI), a U.S. consulate initiative, and is a current Program Officer at YALI Network Ekiti.
Blessing’s dedication to humanitarian service has earned him notable awards, such as being recognized as one of the Top NEXT15 Influential Leaders in Ekiti, the Top 10 UNFPA End FGM Advocates, and Nigeria’s top young and influential leaders by iLEAD. In addition to his commitment to social impact, Blessing is a tech expert with innovative, communicative, and leadership skills. He impacts his expertise by tutoring tech enthusiasts in comprehensive digital skills to enhance their employability. To date, he has trained and mentored over 200 youth, most especially young girls.
With a clear vision and unwavering dedication, Blessing aspires to be an evidence-based solution to Nigeria’s education and unemployment challenges. By combining education, entrepreneurship, and technology, he is well-positioned to empower over 100,000 individuals to make a significant difference by 2028.
