France

My name is Gabrielle, I’m a 25 years old french citizen and social activist currently living in Colombia, where I mainly work as a french teacher and sustainable tourism consultant. Over the last few years, I have partnered with various organizations such as WINTA, YMCA, Perpektiva360, Get Up and Go Colombia as well as GYBN as a peace ambassador in the fields of sustainable tourism, technological innovation, education, women’s empowerment and indigenous’ rights protection. Recently, I have been selected to be part of the youth delegation to participate in the COP15 in Montréal, Canada, where I’ll ensure that suitable measures are taken to conserve our world’s biodiversity. In Colombia, a country which I hold close to my heart and consider as my second home, I have worked with populations previously ravaged by the armed conflicts and empowered them through sustainable tourism. I’m also passionate about global citizenship and transformative education. One of my main goals is to reduce extreme poverty in conflicted areas by creating a change from the inside of the communities.
On an academic side, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Modern Languages. Indeed, I’m a polyglot and I’m absolutely passionate about languages. a, Indonesia, where some communities have been affected by various volcano eruptions. I also hold a Master’s in Sustainable Tourism Management from SDU, Denmark as well as a Master’s in Linguistics from La Sorbonne, Paris.
