I started my journey as a volunteer at the age of 16, with my team I contributed in providing food and clothes for orphans and people in poor areas, our main focus was children in need, we also fixed number of damaged schools in my city, after this I transferred into an Non-governmental charity organization which had the same purpose but in wider range and it provided self-development programs, I got participation certificate for protecting the law program in Iraq, I participated in organizing the Youth parliament in Iraq, I was one of the organizing team for the first christmas celebration (sky light) in the most religious province in Iraq which is Karbala to demonstrate love and peace between religions in Iraq, I volunteered in Startup Grind Karbala, and I volunteered in Behance Adobe Karbala, in 25th of October revolution I used my talent in painting to demonstrate Iraqi youth demand for peace, I participated in TED (The Experiment digital 2020) that connected young leaders from Iraq, Algeria, Yemen and the US to develop their leadership skills, I worked as a facilitator in LOT (Leaders of tomorrow 2020) which is a virtual exchange program I got accepted in AUB (American University in Beirut) and also in UWC East Africa to study the IB (international baccalaureate) but I chose UWC I also participated in GCYA (Global citizen year academy fall 2021) which connects young leaders from all around the globe to train them to demonstrate their skills in their communities by developing their own community project to solve a certain issue in their community and I’m planning to continue developing my self by participating in these programs.
