“I’m Rayen Bouajaja, a 21-year-old law student at Carthage University (Tunisia), I became a young leader in Tunisia in the field of education through working on my online platforms “”lyceena”” and “”Faccna”” which are dedicated to address the educational challenges in the country and help students to share their ideas and talents.(+2.3M followers) I have a strong background of being engaged in several organizations that aims to empower the youth, with a 7+Years of experience in civil society, it has been started in 2009 when I joined the “”Tunisian Scouts”” as a kid who get out of his comfort zone for the first time to discover the world and take responsibility, after the Tunisian revolution i participated in protests against the current educational system, then started leading those protests and I came across the fact that nobody is taking our demands seriously, therefore I decided to launch a media where students can share their thoughts, it started as a small Facebook page then it became the largest project for students made by students in Tunisia, the Minister of Education, Head of government, Medias and has invited me to discuss my vision about the educational system as a leader and representative of Tunisian students. Also, I participated in several events about the same topic, as a speaker and organizer in order to engage the participation of youth in the decision-making and enhance their social responsibility.
I believe that Social media is a game-changer so I get into the game ! i launched a media Campaing “”Change the System”” in 2016 (بدل_السيتام) to demand a change in education, the slogans and the name of the campaign is still present until now in every Tunisian High school and it became a ritual in every protest.
I find my satisfaction in sharing what I learned online, with 55k on my personal Instagram and +33k on youtube , some videos i have produced reach even 1M Views on Facebook pages, where i advice students on how to study for exams and develop their skills, since they consider me as an idol in this topic.(Ranked in Top 200 students in Tunisian baccalaureate(Art) 2019) .”
