Since my school years, I have had a strong aptitude for all subjects with a constant
urge to experiment and try new things. In 2017, I finished school with excellent
grades and got admission to a bachelor’s degree at one of the high-ranking
universities in my home country, with the top score and the hunger for knowledge in
International Peacekeeping drove me into the field of International Relations. With this
letter, I would like to express my interest to become the peace ambassador.
Initially, let me give you brief background information which you may find useful while
considering my application as a strong candidate .. Thus, I am a graduate student
from the Academy of Public Administration majoring in Political Science. During my
bachelor studies, I had shown high performance and completed the academic
semester with 96/100 GPA score. It was my dream to be a highly reputable diplomat
in the future and deal with foreign policy issues and bring some light to the term of “peace”, which is underestimated sometimes. For this reason, I chose political
science as my bachelor’s study field and worked on myself to be more productive for
my country. Furthermore, I am very interested in foreign affairs and international
politics, which connects to numerous subjects such as Security, Relations, History,
Policy Making, etc. Now I am very excited about advanced programs and the
practice of international relations, so I decided to continue my education in this field and lloking for master degree like ” Conflict Management and Peacebuilding”. Now i am working as a journalist in Report Information Agency and see the influence of media in my country. For that reason I was honored when I was chosen among all journalists to participate in special courses of EU called “Media literacy”, where I learned how to promote peace “propaganda” in media.
Secondly, My diploma thesis was devoted to the establishment of peace on earth using peacekeepers and I considered the experience of the UN, NATO and their role in solving global and pressing problems. This was the beginning of how I began to approach the concept of peace and security in more detail and realized that in each case its interpretation is different. Then I took a course from the Eurasian Foundation called “School of Conflict and Peacebuilding”, which completely changed my thinking. I witnessed war, I know what it is and it is a huge tragedy for human being. Also I participated in simulations of UN in local universities and won the nomination for the “best position paper” and for the ” best debater”. The 8 years’ of professional experience and participation in European Youth Parliament gave me capability to overcome confusing situation by showing my strong position, but at the same time I used analythical and critical thinking to understand and accept the view of other people, which helped to find best solutions for complicated issues. Yet I have been chosen as a delegate toparticipate in peace summit in Dubai, but due to personal issues could not join this incredible event.
