“As a person who has ever been discriminated against because of my skin color, of my origin, or as a person who did not receive help after being a victim of attempted sexual abuse, I have had to experience many emotions of both sadness and anger, those are the reasons why I decided to raise my voice and start making the change for me.
So that more people from the provinces like my parents do not beg for a plate of food, so that more children can enjoy their mother tongue and leave discrimination behind, so that more people have that spirit of love for the country where they were born, so that more girls and women do not have to go through situations where they feel they lose all rights over them. Those are my motivations.
Being part of Global Peace Summit Dubai 2022 would open the doors to a world full of different perspectives and realities around the world in such a way that would help my community and myself. For my community, I would be able to innovate and experience changes that have a positive impact, as well as interact with leaders of great potential around and reach great projects with a single purpose: A more united and fair world. In this way, it will be possible to reach concessions to make a change in our communities such as the climate aspect, indigenous communities, among other problems of Agenda 2030.
Everything starts with education, so taking on this challenge is a responsibility that I have to bring to the children, youth and families of my community through the teaching that I will get in this program. This is how we can build a society with service to the community, empathy, mainly forming leaders of change.”
