“Muhammed Kebbeh currently works as a Researcher at the College of Public Policy, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) in Qatar. His research focuses on mapping out and understanding international best practices on SDGED and developing a roadmap of localizing these best practices in Qatar, thus, making students in Qatar into becoming global citizens. He holds a Master of Public Policy from HBKU, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of The Gambia, and a certificate in Civic Leadership from the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria through the Young African Leadership Initiative.

Muhammed also currently runs a youth-led organization in The Gambia called Educate a Generation, where he and his team complement the efforts of the Gambia government by bringing educational programs and resources to the underprivileged children in his country, The Gambia. His most recent project includes constructing a boarding Quranic memorization school in The Gambia and donating thousands of books to the University of The Gambia in partnership with the Gambia Embassy in Qatar. Muhammed’s dedication to community service has won him several leadership awards in The Gambia, including a recognition to participate in the Young African Leadership Initiative – an initiative founded by the former US President, Barack Obama to train the next generation of Young African Leaders. Muhammed’s aim is to instill peace into the mindset of the next generation in the Gambia through the boarding school his organization is building. He hopes that one day, the younger generation will all be global citizens, be tolerant of differences and let peace rain.”
