Fares M. El-Barbary is the Head of Quality of Doehler Egypt, where he has devoted all his efforts in the last 11 years in the field of Quality, EHS, Regulatory and Sustainability. He has extensive experience in the field of food processing of fruits and vegetables with deep impact on the implementation of Quality standards.
In addition to that, Fares have a very unusual expertise in the implementation of sustainability programs since 2010 till now, going through a lot of sustainability initiatives and systems which were firstly implemented in middle east and Africa. From where Fares was selected to represent Africa/Asia and whole Doehler GmbH group in the guidance committee of SAI-FSA for the development of current ver 2.1 system to ver 3.0.
Also, Fares had the chance to visit several countries like UAE, Lebanon, Jordon, Iraq, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, and India where this gave a deep communication experience on how to learn and work in teams of different cultures and backgrounds.
From this perspective, Fares contributed in a lot of projects world-wide engaging all his skilss and qualifications throughout his career to build up systems which added a great value to the business being.
Fares is a member in the Egyptian Industrial Union – Juice and Beverage chamber, where he joind in the projects of updating the Egyptian standards to overcome the industry challengs. Morover, Fares joined in a numerous projects with AIJN – EU which resulted in adding analytical figures of Egyptian originated fruits into the EU standards.
