I am James David Kidiga, a professional teacher since 2014 in Mara, Tanzania. I am also a regional coordinator at Tanzania English Language Teachers’ Association (TELTA) in Mara, Tanzania. Moreover, I am an SDGs advocate at SDSN to my students, fellow teachers and the community around.

Besides teaching job, I engage serving the community; I am the founder and chairperson at a nonprofit organization known as Pamoja Hub which empowers the youth and children towards quality education, leadership and social innovation in Tanzania.

I am also a delegate at Vijana Legislative Assembly Tanzania and member at the East Africa Youth Parliament. So I represent other youth on social, economic and political matters.

I am also an alumnus of Young African Leaders Initiative East Africa cohort 41, Vijana Leadership Academy and Ideathon under IRI and USAID. I was also an ambassador at World Literacy Foundation in 2020 and World Education through a project known as ‘Waache Wasome’ from 2018 to 2021 in Tanzania for protecting the children against violence. In 2020, I engaged in the campaign ‘Reimagining an Africa without Child Marriage’ orgainized by African Union / UNICEF.
