Clary is a social entrepreneur, storyteller, speaker, and youth volunteer-leader who works for inclusion and empowerment. As a youth volunteer, she currently serves Samahan ng Kabataang Boluntaryo ng Pilipinas (SKBP) as the National Treasurer where she was able to raise more than P 200,000 funds for families greatly affected by super Typhoon Goni and Vamco in five regions. She also leads multiple flagship programs and projects of SKBP, such as the Young Entrepreneurs Engaged Towards Finance Wisdom and Planning (YEE) and the SDGs with Kabataang Boluntaryo (or Youth Volunteers), also known as SDGs with KBs, to name a few. Together with her team, they teach younger generations about finance, investment, and entrepreneurship in YEE. Currently, YEE has almost 500 participants. The SDGs with KBs have partnered with 32 organizations and invited 17 SDG champions and experts, including senators, community leaders, and policymakers.
She founded her closet passion project called Online Ukay Redesigned for SDGs where she was able to help unemployed tour guides and kutcheros in Vigan Region. This project was featured in 3 local media stations.
She loves to listen and create deep and powerful conversations that reach 30+ countries. These conversations were converted into a blog called Conversations to the World that highlights changemakers, leaders, and everyday heroes.
Clary has a leadership track from school to international space. She served as the Councilor in the MC Supreme Student Council and served as the Editor-in-Chief of The College Chronicle, her school’s official publication while finishing her degree in Accountancy.
In 2017, Clary started learning the Sustainable Development Goals and served in multiple youth organizations. She was chosen by the National Youth Commission to represent the country in ASEAN Youth Expo 2018 held in Jakarta, Indonesia, and as a Region III delegate for the 12th National Youth Parliament.
In 2019, she was chosen as one of the 13 global change-makers for the Plus Social Good of the United Nations Foundation. As the youngest connector, she was invited to UN Headquarters in New York City to interview SDG champions and to write content. She also held Youth and Global Goals consultations with organizations representing more than 500,000 across the Philippines. She was also invited by the United Nations Foundation to deliver an impact presentation for the Earth Day 2021.
Aside from these, she also partnered with other National Governments for SDG and youth consultations, Philippine Standards for Volunteerism Development, and represented the country in multiple ASEAN events. Clary is committed to youth engagement, entrepreneurship, international relations, and social impact.
