Adelino was born on May 25, 2004 in the administrative post of xinavane, a rural area, located in Manhiça district, Maputo province. He attended primary school without much success at the Santa Rita de Xinavane Community School. However, he completed high school with great success, having been awarded the best student in his classes, all thanks to the civic and social commitment he began to have by joining associations such as the Juventude Marial Vicentina. This engagement not only changed their school performance, it also broadened their paradigm of thought and life. Still a teenager, at the age of 13, he was elected president of the local group of the Associação Juventude Marial Vicentina. In 2019, he was the national champion of the science fair, when he developed a social impact project, a water purification and desalination system. In 2020, he moved to Maputo city to continue his studies at the Maputo Industrial Institute. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, a project was created by the association Banco de Alimentos de Moçambique, called “Alimentando a Esperança”. Adelino, joined this project as a volunteer in July, due to his performance, at a time when the project was in crisis, he was recruited as President of the Donations Collection and Mobilization Commission, having revitalized the project and generated a great social impact in the city of Maputo. In the same year, Adelino wanted to take the project to his homeland and, in this way, in coordination with the project coordinator, the project delegation was created in Xinavane, which is creating great social impacts until the end of the year. nowadays. As a result, Adelino was appointed Coordinator of the Delegation. In 2021, after more than 6 months of the project, Adelino is promoted as General Coordinator of the project Alimentando a Esperança. As leader of this large project, he carried out several activities to raise awareness, community education and distribution of donations in hygiene material protection against covid, non-perishable food products and school material, in the community and especially in primary schools. Adelino holds this position until today, his leadership style is focused on results and he always seeks to transform the community with his actions.
