I am Rainer Pier Paolo M. Ambrocio, a Level II nursing student at Wesleyan University – Philippines. In the matter of qualification, I graduated primary school at Bethel Educational Center, Inc. and secondary school at Eduardo L. Joson Memorial High School both as the Class Salutatorian along with several awards such as With High Honors, Research Awardee, Outstanding Performer in Communication Arts, and Top 9 and 2nd Grand Award in Physical Science Category of 2018 Nueva Ecija Science Fair and 2019 National Science and Engineering Fair, respectively. Currently, I am a consistent Dean’s Lister and the Overall Top 7 of the Nursing Program for the Academic Year 2019-2020. On top of my academic achievements, I have represented the Philippines twice to an international conference mainly to the Asia World Model United Nations II and Asia World Model United Nations III where I won the Verbal Commendation Award from the World Health Organization Council. Also, I was a part of the Philippine delegation to the Harvard World Model United Nations 2021. My involvement in these kinds of events helps me challenge myself to learn, and have a fruitful dialogue concerning health care around the world. Also, it sharpens my public speaking, negotiation, and diplomatic skills which are beneficial in my journey towards my goals.

Additionally, I joined different non-profit organizations including the 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines Inc. This is anchored to the 2030 Youth Force of the Asia-Pacific Region which was organized by the United Nations Development Programme and United Nations Volunteers. It is a community of youth advocating for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. Aside from this organization, I am a Global Change Maker at We Make Change, a movement of 10,000s of Change Makers from more than 100 countries using their skills to address the challenges the world faces today. I am also a member of the ASEAN Youth Organization – Philippines, a youth-led community that comprises more than 400,000 Southeast Asian youths and registered as a foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is an ASEAN approved non-profit organization that spreads awareness of ASEAN to over 200 million young people in Southeast Asia.
